Within a few Ihn, the corsairs, met with arrows from the front and swords from the sides, withdrew into the village and swung shut the seared leaves of the gate, closing themselves inside, where the blackened huts had now mostly collapsed and the flames were subsiding. - (Avengers of Gor)
