On Earth I supposed that a girl might be proud of a man for the simple reason that he was strong enough to be her master. Is that not a source of pride for a girl, at least one of Earth, that a man is strong enough to make her his slave, and see to it that she is an excellent slave? On Gor, of course, one does not need strength for the mastery, for that is cultural, and expected of a man. What would require great strength on Earth is simply a matter of maleness on Gor.
