The wind whistled past and I was almost pulled from the controls of the ship. Then I saw what I would not have expected. The other ship of Sarm was turning slowly, deliberately, on its fellow. I could not believe what I saw but there was no mistaking the elevation of the disrupter cone, the calm, almost unhurried manner in which the other ship was drawing a bead on its fellow. The ship above me seemed to tremble and tried to turn and flee and then sensing the futility of this it turned again and tried to train its own disrupter cone on its fellow. I flashed my ship to the ground only an instant before the entire ship above me seemed to explode silently in a storm of metallic dust glinting in the light of the energy bulbs above.
